Armin Strom is renowned for its intricate skeletonized watch designs, showcasing the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. The Swiss watchmaker combines traditional techniques with modern technology to create timepieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and technically advanced.

Armin Strom is a Swiss independent watch manufacture based in Biel/Bienne, founded in the 1960s by master watchmaker Armin Strom and revived in 2008 under new ownership. The brand is renowned for highly decorative skeletonised movements, where the movement architecture becomes the primary aesthetic element. Their open-worked dials showcase elaborate engraving and architectural case designs that blur the boundary between watch and sculpture.
Armin Strom movements are characterised by their decorative skeletonisation — bridges and plates are cut away and shaped to create visual patterns, then hand-engraved with elaborate motifs. The brand developed their own manufacture calibres, including the Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance, which houses two balance wheels in mechanical resonance to improve accuracy. Their Gravity Equal Force system uses a remontoire to deliver constant force to the escapement.
Armin Strom's Mirrored Force Resonance is their most celebrated technical achievement: a movement housing two balance wheels on the same side of the movement that enter mechanical resonance — synchronising their oscillations to produce more stable timekeeping. Unlike most resonance watches that place balances on opposite sides of the movement, Armin Strom's mirrored architecture allows the resonance coupling to be observed directly. It's one of the most credible explorations of resonance timekeeping in contemporary watchmaking.
