Their Octo Finissimo line holds multiple world records for the thinnest movements in various categories, and the Serpenti collection translates their jewellery heritage into wearable sculpture.
The Octo Finissimo is Bulgari's flagship watch collection and their technical showpiece, built around a campaign to achieve the world's thinnest movements in multiple categories. The collection holds records for thinnest tourbillon, thinnest minute repeater, thinnest perpetual calendar, thinnest chronograph, and thinnest automatic watch. The cases use a distinctive octagonal design with alternating polished and brushed surfaces, giving the collection a powerful architectural identity.
Bulgari's ultra-thin achievements are developed at their Manufacture Bulgari in Le Sentier, Switzerland. Achieving extreme thinness requires eliminating conventional movement architecture — integrating traditionally separate components into the case back itself, using the case as a movement plate, and developing entirely new gear train and escapement configurations. Each record-breaking calibre represents years of engineering development, and the watches remain functional daily wearers despite their extreme thinness.
