Greubel Forsey is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovative watchmaking techniques, producing some of the most intricate and luxurious timepieces in the world. The brand is celebrated for its unique designs and complex movements, often incorporating multiple tourbillons and other advanced horological features.

Greubel Forsey is an independent Swiss watch manufacture founded in 2004 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, widely regarded as producing the most technically and artistically accomplished watches in contemporary haute horlogerie. The brand is built on a research programme into improving mechanical timekeeping accuracy, particularly through multiple tourbillon architectures. Their watches consistently top lists of the world's finest, and prices reflect this — typically CHF 200,000 to several million.
Greubel Forsey's Double Tourbillon 30° is their foundational research piece — featuring two tourbillon cages: one inclined at 30 degrees to compensate for positional errors in multiple planes, rotating within a larger 4-minute outer tourbillon. The architecture demonstrates that a single tourbillon only corrects for errors in one position, while inclined and nested tourbillons address the full range of positional errors a watch experiences during wear. It is simultaneously a scientific statement and an object of extraordinary beauty.
Greubel Forsey's finishing is considered by many experts to be the finest in contemporary watchmaking. They practice an extreme version of traditional hand-finishing — bevelling, anglage, polishing, and decorating every visible surface. Their finishing philosophy extends to surfaces normally hidden from view, on the principle that excellence requires no audience. Each watch requires thousands of hours of production, and the brand intentionally limits production to fewer than 100 pieces per year to maintain this standard.
