Nomos Glashütte is a renowned German watch brand known for its minimalist design and high-quality craftsmanship. The brand combines traditional watchmaking techniques with modern aesthetics, offering timepieces that are both elegant and functional.

Nomos Glashütte is a German watch manufacture founded in 1990 in Glashütte, producing Bauhaus-influenced mechanical watches entirely in-house. Nomos is celebrated for its clean, architectural design language — typically white or silver dials, clear typography, and sapphire exhibition casebacks — and for producing genuinely in-house movements at price points that deliver extraordinary value for the quality of design and manufacture offered.
The Tangente is Nomos's foundational model — a thin, round dress watch with a clear dial that has become one of the most influential watch designs of the past 30 years. The Orion, Club, and Ludwig offer variations on the same design philosophy. The Metro and Zurich incorporate date and world time complications. The Ahoi and Ahoi Datum are sport variants with coloured dials. All Nomos watches use movements designed and produced in Glashütte, featuring characteristic German finishing including three-quarter plates and swan-neck spring regulators.
Glashütte is Germany's watchmaking capital — the traditional home of A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte Original, and several other quality manufacturers. Making watches in Glashütte entitles the brand to use 'Glashütte' on the dial, a designation that carries significant collector respect. Nomos produces its movements entirely in-house using traditional German techniques including the characteristic three-quarter plate, screw balance, and decorative stripes (Glashütte ribbing) on movement components. This manufacture depth at Nomos's price points is genuinely unusual.
