Piaget is a Swiss luxury brand known for pioneering ultra-thin movements and blending high watchmaking with fine jewelry artistry.

Piaget is a Swiss luxury watch and jewellery brand founded in 1874 in La Côte-aux-Fées, part of the Richemont Group. The brand is celebrated above all for its ultra-thin watch movements — Piaget has held numerous records for the world's thinnest automatic, manual-wind, and tourbillon calibres. Piaget also produces elaborate high jewellery watches that combine horological expertise with gem-setting of the highest order.
The Altiplano is Piaget's flagship ultra-thin collection — an exercise in restraint and mechanical miniaturisation that has produced record-breaking calibres including the 900P, the world's thinnest mechanical watch at 3.65mm total height. The Polo is their sports watch, a cushion-case integrated bracelet design first introduced in 1979. The Limelight Gala and Possession collections represent the jewellery-watch side of the brand, featuring diamond and gemstone-set dials and bezels.
Ultra-thin watchmaking is technically demanding because reducing movement height requires redesigning every component — mainspring barrels, gear trains, escapements — to function with smaller tolerances and less material. Piaget achieves extreme thinness partly through integrating the movement base plate into the caseback itself, eliminating a structural layer. Their Calibre 900P at 2mm thick is a remarkable engineering achievement. The brand has produced ultra-thin records across manual, automatic, tourbillon, and repeater complications.
