Tudor is a Swiss watch brand known for its high-quality craftsmanship and timeless designs, often associated with its parent company, Rolex. The brand offers a range of luxury watches that combine traditional aesthetics with modern technology, appealing to both watch enthusiasts and collectors.

Tudor is a Swiss watch brand created by Hans Wilsdorf — the founder of Rolex — in 1926 as a way to offer robust, reliable watches at more accessible price points than Rolex. The brand is independently marketed but shares Rolex's ownership and benefits from Rolex's infrastructure and expertise. Tudor has developed a strong independent identity with its own in-house movements, and has become one of the most respected mid-range Swiss watch brands.
The Black Bay is Tudor's flagship — a vintage-inspired dive watch that references the original Tudor Submariner from the 1950s-60s. It is available in steel, bronze, titanium, and gold variants, with or without chronograph. The Pelagos is their professional diver, featuring a titanium case and helium escape valve. The Black Bay Fifty-Eight is a smaller 39mm variant particularly popular with collectors who prefer pre-modern proportions. The Heritage Chrono references vintage Tudor rally-style chronographs.
Tudor developed their own in-house movements — the MT5000 series — featuring silicon hairsprings, COSC chronometer certification, and 70-hour power reserves. This was a significant development for a brand previously reliant on ETA movements. The in-house calibres brought Tudor closer to the standards of their parent company while maintaining a distinct identity and price positioning. The MT5621 is a bidirectional rotor movement; the MT5813 powers their collaboration chronograph with Breitling.
